Our Legacy
What began as a heartfelt idea to design custom timepieces for his young family soon blossomed into the pursuit of craft and legacy for Lim Yong Keong, known as YK.
In 2018, that dream took form with the founding of his Feynman Timekeepers in Singapore, a watch brand inspired not by passing trends, but by love, heritage, and time itself. Bearing the name of YK’s elder son, Feynman Lin, the name echoes the deep bond between father and son, and the intention to build something enduring, a legacy worth passing down to the next generation.
Crafted and assembled with care, and guided by the values of curiosity and legacy, Feynman watches are more than instruments—they are heirlooms in the making.
Our Inspiration
At Feynman, designs speak louder than logos. You’ll know a Feynman watch not by a name on the dial, but by its refined lines, whimsical details, and harmonious proportions. Our signature design language draws from the golden ratio—an enduring symbol of natural beauty and balance—woven with intent into each timepiece.
Our inaugural timepiece, the Feynman One, paid tribute to the art of horology by featuring the three traditional languages of time: Roman, Arabic, and Chinese numerals. This homage to horology continues to shape our collections today—where every dial, marker, and silhouette echoes the enduring art of mechanical timekeeping.
We are inspired by natural balance—blending traditional techniques with quiet whimsy, like our signature lizard-tail seconds hand, a subtle detail that rewards the observant. Meticulously designed and assembled to mark the sharp passage of time, each Feynman watch is a wearable work of art, designed not to chase trends, but to honour timeless design.
Our Ambition
Feynman’s mission is to champion Singaporean craftsmanship on the world stage.
We proudly collaborate with Singaporean craftsmen, artists, and collectors who share our passion for horology. From enamel and leather work to handpainted traditional design motifs and mechanical innovation, these partners bring diverse skills and rich perspectives to our watches.
In 2021, we launched Singapore’s first Métiers d’Art watch, in collaboration with four local craftsmen. Inspired by the iconic Peranakan tiles that lined the walls of many Singaporean homes, we paid homage to Peranakan culture through our Coalesce Peranakan series, marking our commitment to culturally grounded, artistically ambitious horology.
We’ve proudly submitted to the Grand Prix d’Hologerie d Genève (GPHG)—the ‘Oscars’ of watchmaking—in both 2021 and 2022, not just to compete, but to represent a new voice in independent watchmaking. This marked a milestone not just for us, but for Singapore’s independent horology scene.
We’re here to prove that with passion, stories told through time can come from unexpected places—and speak to horologists everywhere.
Our Commitment
A Feynman Timepiece is designed to last and be passed on from generation to generation.
We are committed to providing quality watches to owners of Feynman timepieces across the world. Each Feynman timepiece goes through a vigorous quality control check prior to being shipped out from Singapore. Our watches are subjected to a series of strictly defined checks, including a validation of all the functions and a running test, depending on the autonomy guaranteed for the timepiece. Customers will then receive their warranty cards, indicating the measurements, including the accuracy of their Feynman watch.
When maintenance is required, you need only to turn to our accredited retailers or visit our service centre for servicing enquiries. Estimated options and costings will be submitted for the client’s approval before servicing.
